Instructions to limit the snatching of bags

Beirut and its suburbs have lately witnessed an  increase in the cases of snatching women's bags especially in the residential, touristic and commercial areas. Although this phenomenon is considered an exception in the pacific security atmosphere that prevails over Lebanon, it may be attributed to many reasons:
· The deteriorating economic situation.
· The large number of  homeless persons.
· The large number of  hawkers spread all over the crossroads and the rotaries
· The large number of  motorcycles.

In order to limit such a phenomenon, the Directorate General of the I.S.F has given the following instructions:
· Watch out for the bikes especially when they carry  two persons.
· Keep your bag hung around your neck.
· Let the bag be on the side of the wall.
